Mister Curtin is back with his biggest record is his ongoing trick or treat series! this is treats part 2 and of course he delivers pure, uncut, bouncey sex - bump bump "house" music with a twist! Dan Curtin has been running things for soo long it seems fairly pointless to explain this man and his mission, and actually Dan himself prefers to let his work speak for him. with that being said, lets talk about the music! This record kicks off with the a1. smash "noise addict" which has this repetitive groove that just swings it way through spacey build ups that every time seem to reach a new level. the groove is sexy and the bottom end is phat enough for any club system! this track has been in recent play lists of Ricardo Villalobos and label head Jay Haze. The next ear candy you will get on the A side is the old school meets new school monster "slave" slightly reminiscent of the early dbx music.... well, once the acidy monophonic line kicks in, before that you are finding yourself sucked into an infectious house groove and simply put- you are a slave to this groove. perfect for rocking the floor, perfect for rocking the bedroom- and if the mood is right > there might be some freaky submissive situations you ain't thought could happen... give it a try y'all!

The b side is equally as strong, as we here are TuningSpork don't follow this a side is the better one strategy....no we prefer to give you different flavors of the same candy!

b1. "this was tomorrow" is the sexiest tune of all the treats.... it is with this tune you can hear Dan's roots in us house music and techno. the vibe is really sweet, without being too sweet, lets say it is more seductive. AND when you are seduced to the dance floor on this one, boy you in for a surprise. nice chords hitting you str8 in the backside, forcing you to move the front side, this is offence baby - now dance! the lows on this one definitely match the energy of the mids and highs, and is a must for any modern house set!

b2. "blowhard" - one might think of some kind of sexual reference when hearing the title of this song, and actually we don't blame you... "blowhard" is the deepest and most adventurous track on this ep, which rounds "treats vol 2"  off in a perfect way! this song is already featured on the label boss Jay Haze's new mix CD and if you listen you can understand why! tripped out sounds, a solid groove and enough efx tweaks to throw any late night dance floor into a frenzy, beware of the towering snares, by the time the envelope is fully open you ears will be begging for it to stay open! but..... it does recede and the trip starts again.
