Tuning Spork 14 brings another stormer from Samim and Michal. This time the lads convinced a homeless character that used to hang around the studio to come sing and paid him with a bottle of Jack Daniels! The misery and despair of ghetto life is reflected well in the opening track “Angel” and to be honest we had to add a remix for this bomb just because it is such a fine representation of the school of hard knocks we come from. For the other two tracks we added some bling and ghetto fab to produce new days funk for the 21st century. Through our contacts in the underground world of cryogenics we stole some of Funkadelic’s genes and secretly implemented them in Samim and Michal (suckers never saw it coming!) Now the funk is alive again and is rocking. Samim and Michal has been shaking dance floors all across Europe with their P-funk styled electronic madness. At a recent event at Zurich’s Dachcantina club the lads received a shower of panties, G-strings and bras (well and one pair of jock shorts which was promptly returned) yet the lads continued to rock. One frantic lady commented with red-flushed cheeks “All this funk is making me itch!” Here at Tuning Spork we are very pleased to have the lads from Zurich with us. In case you spend all your Euros on a rock last night there is a nice and FREE Samim and Michal on Tuning Spork’s sister online-label www.textone.org. (source:Wordansound)
