Tuning Spork was founded in Philadelphia in 2000. The label focuses on quirky, yet grooving dancefloor material that is avant-garde and tongue-in-cheek at the same time. Tuning Spork now operates out of Berlin (after a short stint in Amsterdam) under the umbrella organization of Contexterrior Media, along with its sister labels, Contexterrior, Textone and Future Dub. samin & michal is by far their best release so far, with the help of supertalented jon jon this is an electronic dancefloorsmash supreme.
