Little is known about Blackwell -- TuningSpork received his two-track demo, postmarked from Amsterdam, in late 2006. Jay Haze was immediately impressed, in fact envious, of these spellbinding productions and immediately got in touch via email to release them on vinyl. Despite being a low-profile release by an unknown name, 'You are About to Enter the Twilight Zone' (TS25) became an underground hit with DJs throughout Europe in the summer of 2007. Then, when TuningSpork asked Blackwell where to send the royalty check, he was completely unresponsive and has remained unreachable since. A shame, as the world could certainly afford to hear more of this talented man's work.
